Impact Resistance

 

Test Conducted at the University of Moratuwa

Test method was to drop 4.5 kg sand bag from increasing height to failure on to flat Durra boards spanning horizontally.

Impact Load 4.5 kg dropped with a maximum height of 4m

No damage to the panels.

 

Test conducted at CSIRO

Test method was to drop 100mm Diameter 3.62 Kg Cast Iron Ball from increasing height to failure on to flat Durra boards and different boards spanning horizontally.

Impact Load 3.62 Kg dropped with a height of 2.7m

4mm dent, paper fractured, minimal damage.
